Some questions:
Q. Is this a BETA or a real launch?
This is the first public BETA. This isn’t the finished product and will be changed before final launch. The date of this final launch is yet to be confirmed. AR2 has been in testing for 2 months amongst private testers.
Q. What happens to AR1 sites?
Your AR1 sites are safe, nothing changes. You are still able to create sites on AR1 as usual. You have the added benefit of being able to create AR2 sites to see the differences. When the final version is launched you will be given the option to transfer your AR1 sites to AR2 sites without any loss of data. Upgraded sites will have assistance in transferring layouts and designs.
Q. What happens to any credits bought on AR1, are they lost?
No, any credits bought can be used for AR1 or AR2 sites. When the final version is launched your credits will be transferred to AR2.
Q. ‘X’ feature isn’t present on AR2, why not?
As AR2 is currently in a testing phase the features and structure are not final. We welcome any input through the forums.
Q. Why can’t I use the AR1 forums?
The AR1 forums have been made read-only. This is to ensure that the forums are kept in sync. Any new posts must be made on the AR2 forums available at http://ar2.acornrack.com/forums
Q. Do I need to signup again to AR2?
No, your AR1 login details can be used on AR2.
If you have any more questions, please post them on the forum or read through the extensive documentation available at http://ar2.acornrack.com/docs
